Three steps. Zero typing.

dictate& turns your spoken words into structured, professionally formatted documents. Here's exactly how.

01

Dictate

Open the app on your phone and speak naturally. You don't need to use special commands or speak slowly — talk the way you'd talk to a colleague summarising a meeting.

When: After a consultation, between meetings, on the walk back from court, in the car park, at the end of the day.

Where: Anywhere. Works with ambient noise. Works offline — the audio sits on your phone until you have signal.

How long: Most dictations are 2–5 minutes. A detailed opinion might be 10. That's it.

02

AI processes your dictation

The AI does three things at once: it transcribes your speech, it understands what kind of document you're creating, and it formats the output accordingly.

Transcription: Speaker-independent speech recognition trained on Irish legal vocabulary. Handles Irish accents, case citations, Latin terms, and Irish names with fadas.

Document detection: The AI identifies the document type from context — an attendance note, an opinion, a letter, session notes — without you having to specify it.

Formatting: Your dictation is structured into the right format: headings, paragraphs, bullet points, correct capitalisation of proper nouns and case names. Not a wall of text.

03

Review and send

You get a structured document back in seconds. Read through it, make any corrections — by voice if you prefer — and export.

Voice editing: Say "Replace paragraph two with..." or "Delete the last sentence" to correct without typing.

Export: Send to email, copy to clipboard, or export as a file. Use it however you use documents now.

Time saved: A short dictation replaces a longer typing session — and you capture details while they're fresh instead of reconstructing from memory.

Why this isn't just another dictation tool

Structured documents, not transcripts

Phone dictation gives you a wall of text. dictate& gives you a document with headings, paragraphs, and the right format for the document type.

Professional vocabulary built in

No need to spell out "Ó Domhnaill v Merrick" or correct "res judicata" every time. The AI knows Irish legal terminology and gets it right.

Works the way you work

On your phone, between appointments, on the move. Not tethered to a desktop in a quiet office.

EU-only data processing

Processing and storage are EU-only. No US data transfer. Audio stored encrypted in Ireland. Your data is never used for model training.

Not just voice — camera and keyboard too

Photograph a handwritten note, a document, or a whiteboard. Or type directly. All three input modes feed the same AI pipeline and produce the same structured output.

Files & folders — built in

Every document you create is saved and organised automatically. Folders per matter or client, AI-suggested filing, and a searchable archive — no separate file management system needed.

Workspaces for teams

Share a workspace with your secretary or colleagues. Barristers and legal assistants can work on the same documents, with all tasks and files scoped to the workspace.
